Wednesday 4 October: MILANO – REGGIO EMILIA
Transfer by Gran Turismo 50-seat bus from Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) to Reggio Emilia.Pick up at 10 am.
Arrival in Reggio Emilia,accommodation in Hotel 4****stars in the center of the town. Reggio Emilia known as the City of the Tricolour because it was here,in 1797, that the banner that later became the national flag was adopted. In the 11th century, it was the heart of the county of Matilde di Canossa; later important figures marked its Renaissance, from Boiardo to Ariosto,the great poet of Orlando Furioso. Today it excels for its gastronomy, quality of life and, internationally, for the ‘most beautiful kindergartens in the world’.
After arrival in Reggio Emilia known as the city of art there will be free time to explore the 17th-century Basilica della Ghiara and the famous Valli Municipal Theatre. We will have dinner in one of the restaurants near the hotel.
At the end, walking back to the hotel.
Thursday 5 October: REGGIO EMILIA – CASTELLO di CANOSSA
8.30 transfer by Gran Turismo 30-seatercoach to Castle di Canossa.
The ancient Castle is dated from around 1077. While touring these ancient ruins you will be provided with special glasses that will create a virtual tour inside the castle to discover the history of Matilde of Canossa. This wonderful tour (YOU ARE MATILDE) is a technological-immersive project with a cultural slant, a real journey through time, combining history and emotion!
The tour lasts about 1 hour 30 minutes.
Then, transfer to Acetaia il Borgo del Balsamico for a visit and a light lunch, followed by a guided tour of Monica’s collection, more than 1000 antique decorative scent bottles.
Dinner in one of the restaurants near the hotel.
After dinner we will have a walking tour by night with an English speaking guide.
Friday 6 October: REGGIO EMILIA – PARMA
8.30transfer by Gran Turismo 50-seat bus to Parma.
9.00 am arrival in Parma for a guided visit to the Glauco Lombardi Museum, a museum in the former home of Empress Marie-Louise, second wife of Napoleon Bonaparte, recounting her story through various itemsand belongings.
Short walk in Parma to see the wonderful square with the Baptistery designed by Benedetto Antelami and built between 1196 and 1216, one of the most important monuments of the transition from Romanesque to early Gothic architecture.
11.00 am bus transfer to Mercante in Fiera – Antique Fair. Mercante in fiera is one of a kind and one of the most important events for the Antiques world at European level: over one thousand dealers exhibit their best antiques items and collectables to a public consisting of thousands professional visitors, collectors, and memorabilia hunters. Free time for lunch (several possibilities to eat well inside the fair). Full afternoon to dedicate to a free visit of the fair.
17.00 Return to the Hotel in Reggio Emilia.
At the agreed time, transfer in Bus for a typical trattoria for dinner.
Saturday 7 October: REGGIO EMILIA – VENEZIA
8.30 transfer by Gran Turismo 50-seat bus from Reggio Emilia to Venice.
Arrival in Venice at 12 pm.
Boarding on private boat of guests and luggage and transfer to the Hotel (disembarkation in the vicinity of the Hotel).
Accommodation in Hotel.
Free time to explore the city of Venice.
For many the most beautiful city in the world. Venice has an ancient and poignant charm, and today it is among the world capitals of contemporary art
Immortal and mysterious, the soul of Venice is made up of 118 islands joined by over 400 bridges, separated by canals that act as maritime roads, perpetually traversed by gondolas and boats in constant coming and going. To say it is overflowing with art treasures is even irreverent: romantic charm and history are absolutely unique here.

Sunday 8 October: VENEZIA
10.00 Grand opening of the IPBA-IPE Chapter at the Museo of Palazzo Mocenigo a 17th century gothic palace. A place of History Study, Center, of Costume, Fabric and Perfume.
The day will begin with Presentations of “Highlights” by collectors; guided visit of the Palace and Aperitivo. This event is by invitation only.
In the afternoon visit to the perfume shop of “The Merchant of Venice” housed in an ancient pharmacy designed in 1846 by the architect Giambattista Meduna completely restored to its original splendour in neo-Gothic style
Dinner in one of the city’s restaurants.
After dinner a walking tour by night with English speaking guide.
Monday 9 October: VENEZIA – MURANO
Private boat for a full day excursion to Murano. The day will be dedicated to the visits of the Murano Glass Museum and to the Glass School’Abate Zanetti’ the meeting point between the past and the future of the glass art. In both these visits we will be special guests of the MUVE Foundation for a “once in life” tour. Lunch in a reserved restaurant in Murano
Return to the Hotel.
Dinner on your own.
Tuesday 10 October: VENEZIA – MILANO
Board private boat with luggage and transfer to the Park Tourist Bus 10 am transfer by Gran Turismo coach from Venice to Milan.
2 p.m. Expected arrival in the city.
The metropolis that moves in perfect and dynamic balance between history and modernity.
It is considered one of the world’s fashion and design capitals, as well as a neuralgic financial hub, but Milan does not forget that it is also a city of culture and thought. Thus, while always tending to project itself into the future, the Lombard capital enhances its history through top-class museums and some of the most monumental churches in Italy.
In the afternoon visit to the Museo del Profumo, devoted to the history of Art and Design of perfume of the XX century.
Accommodation in Hotel 4****stars. Dinner in one of the city’s restaurants.
Wednesday 11 October: MILANO
Full day dedicated to the visits of the city.
9.00 Visit of Pinacoteca di Brera.
The Pinacoteca di Brera‘s collection of works of art includes several of the greatest masterpieces in the history of art anywhere in the world. Discover which ones they are. The works are displayed on the first floor of the building, where the Academy of Fine Arts is also located. The Pinacoteca di Brera was not founded thanks to private collections belonging to monarchs or noble families, but through a political action by the State. The collection has subsequently been enlarged through exchanges, acquisitions and donations.
Lunch on your own.
In the afternoon, free time for shopping or for visiting other museums and buildings.
At 18.00 Meeting point to reach Eataly for dinner, an old restored cinema that hosts a multitude of shops and restaurants showing
the”Italian” way of indulging at the table.
After dinner walking tour by night with guide.
Thursday 12 October: MILANO
Transfer by Gran Turismo coach from the hotel to the train station of Milano Centrale and to the airport of Milano Malpensa (MXP) for the flight to the UK or back to the US.
